Douglas Gough's problem:
The building that houses the Instituut-Lorentz on its second
floor leans toward you by 7 degrees as you approach it from
the parking lot. The second floor is then at an inclination
of 22 degrees.
Q: At which speed v does the Lorentz contraction stop the
Instituut-Lorentz from leaning toward you?
A: v/c = tan 7 tan 22 = 0.05.
This happens to be the rms speed of an electron, in any
given direction, in the core of the Sun.
